Role Title: Staff Nurse

Job Title: Staff Nurse ( RMN / RNLD)

Service Type: Male Rehabilitation

Location: Malvern Wells, Worcestershire

Salary: GBP 24,000 - GBP27000 (preceptorship salary) + benefits

Hours: part time and full time shifts available (11.5, 24, 36, 42) Please state your preference on application

Shifts: Options of Days only (7.30 - 19.45 ) or Nights only (19.30 - 7.45) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference. The hospital can also offer fixed shifts and are willing to accommodate specific requirements and preference

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RMN, RNLD or RGN to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive Psychiatric Hospital situated in Worcestershire. The Hospital has a good CQC rating. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team and 2 Hospital directors. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training.

Service Details: This Hospital provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems for males.

The unit has an inclusive, multidisciplinary approach with a positive attitude to risk management.The Hospital also runs a 12-week rotational therapeutic programme, to help patients to develop:

Coping strategies
Resilience and community skills
Recovery potential
Independence skills

Patients are also able to attend drop-in sessions with an educational tutor. Our tutor identifies patients' educational needs and interests, and a range of formal and informal learning is available.

The Hospital is split into 2 sections:

25 Bed male low secure ward - for those in short term need of care after leaving acute services and those looking to step down into a rehabilitation setting
5 x semi independent flats for patients looking to go back intro the community following the rehabilitation period

There is also a farm and horse riding facilities available at site.

In the case of newly qualified nurses, the hospital offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.
