A well-known global managed document services organisation is looking to recruit a Production Controller to join its Operation team. The role will see you maintain sales demands and make sure Customer requirements are met. The chosen candidate will have previous experience of working as a Production Controller ideally with an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Bridgnorth

Salary: up to GBP 28,000 p.a. + Health Care + Pension

The Role

Negotiate sales demand and any changes to meet customer requirements.

Ensure sales requirements maintained in sales and production plan.

Expedite, audit and determine sales requirements from customers, ensuring

products are available as required to meet shipping deadlines.

Plan, coordinate and ensure the despatch of products to meet customer requirement.

Determine sales forecast using appropriate forecasting tools to support

procurement and business analysis.

Create a daily production schedule considering forecast and sales requirement,

production capacities, and inventory holding policies; through the whole production process.

Expedite and report adherence to production schedule output.

Investigate and improve adherence to production schedule output

Reduce supply chain costs, including capacity planning, inventory and throughout optimisation.

Create sales, production and inventory forecasts for 12-month period, to determine company profit forecast and development of manpower plans.

Coordinate the introduction of new products ensuring DCM objective es are met.

Produce reports to senior management level.

The Person

Ideally Holds an HNC / HND, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.

APICS would be beneficial.

Several years proven ability in supply chain management (with experience of production control)

An understanding of manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Must be self-motivated and driven.

Must have the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.

Must have excellent communication, customer liaison and negotiation skills.
