The Social, Emotional and Mental Health Behaviour Support needs to be able to demonstrate empathy, resilience and relentless optimism for our pupils at all times. You do not need to be a qualified teacher however a QTS status teacher would be desirable, but the experience of working with young people is essential.

To be considered as a SEMH Behaviour Support :

  • MAPPA or team teach is preferred not essential

  • Experience working with young people with behaviour and learning difficulties is essential
  • Experience in youth work or rehabilitation preferred

Although this is a fixed term position, the project will be ongoing from April 2019 so there may be additional opportunities to work with our organisation later in the year.
