We are looking for a SEO and PPC Specialist to join one of our prestigious clients based in Stoke-on-Trent. The company are highly successful and are one of the world's largest supplier of new and used electrical control equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a focus on Best Practice Optimisation, Utilising Developers Tools, Pay Per Click campaigns, Google Shopping, Remarketing Campaigns and our eBay Shops to improve rankings, generate traffic and increase revenue.

Reporting directly to the European Marketing Manager you will be responsible for staying one step ahead of SEO and PPC techniques, researching updates from all the major search engines, producing authoritative hub / category page content, managing keywords, optimising adverts, creating link building strategies and managing best practice implementations.

The perfect candidate will understand and suggest improvements on SEO and PPC issues that affect ranking performance and the user experience across the global websites in multiple languages.

Essential Duties

  • Researching search engine updates, algorithms and implementing best practices
  • Reviewing and continually improving meta data, content, code issues and site errors
  • Creating content and articles that are fully optimised
  • Internal and External link building program
  • Managing content and identifying gaps in keyword placement
  • Utilising Google and Bing Developers Tools
  • Management of Google Ads, Google Shopping, Remarketing Campaigns and other Pay Per Click Campaigns
  • Management of eBay Shop listings
  • BETA testing
  • In-depth Analysis and Insightful Management Reports

Metrics

  • To consistently meet monthly deadlines and objectives as agreed and typically described in monthly reviews or through other project planning efforts
  • To handle ongoing projects and day-to-day demands that are not identified in formal monthly objectives in a timely and accurate manner
  • Increase impressions of organic and paid traffic by 20%
  • Increase click rate of organic and paid traffic by 5%
  • Decrease bounce rate by 20% on organic and paid traffic
  • Increase revenue by 20% - split 70% organic and 30% paid
  • Eliminate all site errors utilising Google Search Console, SiteSpeed and W3C Validator
  • Decrease page load speed to below 2 seconds
  • Increase website trust / authority score by 20 points

Skills Required

  • Proven Search Engine Optimisation experience, especially Google and Bing
  • Technical Search Engine Management Experience
  • Digital Marketing including social media and blogs
  • Search Engine Algorithms and Best Practices

  • Developers Tools including PageSpeed, Search Console and W3 Compliance
  • Google Analytics
  • eBay Shops / Stores

Education

  • Qualification in Search Engine Optimisation
  • Qualification in Pay Per Click Marketing or Extensive experience of SEO and PPC in an account management role
  • Google Analytics Academy Certification (Desirable)
  • Google Ads Fundamentals Certification (Desirable)
  • Google Shopping Certification (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word and Excel (Essential)
