RESPONSIBLE FINANCE OFFICER / DEPUTY TOWN CLERK
Part Time - 21 hours per week - including some evening and weekend working.
NJC SCP 23 - £26,999 pro rata
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a progressive Town Council, based at the heart of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
In a challenging local government financial climate, we are looking for an experienced and innovative individual, to play a key role in the management of the Council’s Finances, with particular emphasis on income generation. You will also support the Town Clerk with various projects and initiatives relating to finance and assets.
Candidates should preferably have local government experience and be CiLCA qualified or willing to undertake study towards this qualification.
