As a Payroll Supervisor at our Walsall office you will be supporting the Payroll Manager in dealing with all payroll related queries within agreed SLAs, managing the head office monthly payroll and delivering an efficient and quality service to stakeholders in the business

As a Payroll Supervisor at our Walsall office, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Running end-to-end, multiple payrolls
  • Leading Payroll function adhering to agreed timescales
  • RTI Submissions
  • Payroll Reconciliations
  • Recruiting, training and supervising a team 6,
  • One to ones and performance reviews
  • Reporting to the Payroll Manager
  • Processing monthly payrolls for the Baldwins Group Head office payroll
  • Compiling payroll information to help produce reports and maintain records
  • Reconciling payroll and resolving discrepancies
  • Updating payroll YTD Rolling Totals
  • Dealing with Complex payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Keeping on top of changing legislation and ensuring the business is adhering to new changes
  • Completing end of year procedures including p11d, P60, EPS reconciliations
  • To oversee the Payrolling of the Benefit in Kind Medical Cover
  • Completing a monthly Cascade / Star analysis
  • An additional Cover for the BACS process
  • Help with HMRC complex queries, EYU's
  • Being the voice of the payroll team
  • Assisting with new acquisitions
  • Providing ad hoc support to other projects when required
  • Assisting me in bringing the payroll team to achieve Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS) and CIPP Excellence award

As a Payroll Apprentice at our Peterborough office, your skills and qualifications will include:
  • Strong payroll experience and knowledge of current payroll legislation is essential
  • A good team player
  • Supervisory experience is required
  • Proactive, creative and forward thinking
  • Strong communication skills and able to support the wider business
  • Able to work with a professional attitude at all times
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Highly organised, attention to detail and approachable
  • HMRC experience
  • Intermediate to expert Excel skills
  • Holds a CIPP payroll qualifications or working towards it
