Location: Birmingham

Salary: £29,640 ( £15.20 p/h ) - negotiable DoE

Hours: Full Time or Part time, site can be flexible to fit in with your requirements (11.5, 24, 36, 37.5 and 42 hours available) - please state your preference upon application

Shifts: Options available include days only nights only or mixed shifts days are 0700 - 1915 and nights are 1900 - 0715 - please state your preference upon application

Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RGN,RMN, or RNLD to work within a specialist Autism and Learning Disabilities Hospital in Birmingham

Located in Kings Norton, Birmingham, the hospital provides assessment and treatment for people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. The team can also support individuals who may be detained under the Mental Health Act, as well as those who have complex behaviours, or who have significant difficulties with social engagement. We accept emergency referrals and the team are experienced in managing them quickly and efficiently to ensure the transition for the service user is as smooth as possible.

Service Details:

The Hospital is rates as Outstanding across all CQC key lines of enquiry and the management team have been in place for a long time, maintaining standards with support of the full MDT. There are excellent training and development structures in place including an amazing preceptorship programme, staff moral is high and turn over very low.

The service consists of three autism provisions, which provide different levels of support depending on the individual. The House provides support for up to 15 people with autism and associated complex needs, including four bespoke provisions. The Lodge is a separate four bed service for individuals who are towards the end of their care pathway towards independent living. The Annexe provides intensive therapy, treatment and support for six people who are living with complex autistic conditions.
