Payroll Administrator Temp to Perm GBP18,000
Your new company
You will be working for a public services business based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, the role reports directly to the Director of Finance, and also works closely with the Council who manage payroll on behalf of the business. The post is responsible for the liaising with the company payroll providers over full range of payroll and pensions functions that are undertaken by the business.
Your new role
In your new role, your responsibility will include:
- The verification, validation and reconciliation of salary payment documentation including; overtime schedules, proportional contract teaching staff, casual employees, expense / travel / subsistence claims etc.
- The accurate cost coding of all payroll payments and production of the input for Agresso.
- The prompt and effective response to all pay and pension related queries.
- Maintaining an effective electronic retention system of all payroll related documentation
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role will ultimately lead to your success, this business requires the handling of all payroll information to be undertaken with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity. The post relies on organisational ability, attention to detail and confidentiality.
