EARLY YEARS TEACHER REQUIRED FOR A NURSERY IN NUNEATON. FULL TIME JOB TO START IN SEPTEMBER 2019
Your new company
This is a 'Good' Nursery that has been established for 21 years. It is set in a lovely area of Nuneaton which is close to the town centre, therefore is very accessible by public transport if you do not drive. This nursery caters for children from the ages of birth - five years. This nursery offers a home from home environment to ensure children are at ease and receiving a high level of day care in a safe and stimulating environment.
Each room caters for the needs of every child , there is a lovely outdoor area which allows children to explore the natural environment around them.
Your new role
This nursery is looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher or Level 6 equivalent to work on a full time basis (38.5 hours per week) You will be required to provide a high standard of learning in line with the EYFS. You will build positive relationships with children, parents and staff. As an Early Years Teacher/Level 6, you will need to plan the learning curriculum and extend children's play, learning and development and assessing their achievements in order to plan for the next steps of their education.
You will need to maintain a stimulating, safe and secure environment for children, ensuring the needs of individual children are met, taking in to account culture, medical history and any disabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold either a relevant Level 6 or qualification or have EYTS. Ideally you will have completed the Paediatric First Aid training, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Child Protection/Safeguarding. If you don't hold all of the above training, then you must be willing to complete this if you are successful in securing this job. You will need to have a minimum of two years experience working with children. You must have a good knowledge of the EYFS Framework. You must be a confident team player with excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with parents, carers, colleagues and children on a daily basis. You must have a genuine passion for working with children and display high levels of enthusiasm. You must be competent in planning the EYFS curriculum the lessons based on your plans. You must have some experience/knowledge of SEN also.
