Internal sales job for a Telesales Executive / Telemarketing Consultant for an IT software company - successful, friendly business, everyone enjoys it here. They are a company with passion for their software products and for their people, and a bright, modern working environment. With a 20 year + track record, they now have around 50 staff, 100's of loyal, successful clients and they are continuing to expand. They need a Telesales or Telemarketing person who has B2B sales experience, to join the team. This is an internal sales role which requires someone who can work with the sales team, generate their own leads including cold calling, run email campaigns and follow up leads from marketing and exhibitions, to secure firm appointments for the field sales team, and build relationships with prospective new clients. You will also research and analyse market trends and should have an interest in the software market.

The role is to support the sales team by generating interest in their ERP software solutions and creating new sales opportunities for them with potential future clients. The job is based near Fort Dunlop and Erdington in the north east of Birmingham, and ideally, they would like someone full-time, but they would also consider someone part-time or who needs flexible hours.

You will be good at researching for new prospects, confident and personable on the telephone, a stickler for updating and cleansing the database, well organised and a clear communicator. They want someone with enthusiasm, drive, a great telephone manner, who works well in a team environment where everyone has the same goal. There are excellent prospects to move into software field sales in the future, if that's where you see your career going.

Obviously if you have any experience or knowledge of software, hardware or anything IT related it could help - but your communication, personality, ambition and drive are just as important, if not more important. If you have some experience in a B2B telesales or telemarketing role, the right attitude and are keen to do well and to learn, they can train you up in what you need to know.
