I am recruiting for a Team Leader to join my client who specialise in residential care for people with learning disabilities in Worcester.

The Position:
You will develop flexible and realistic support plans and risk assessments with the individuals you support and in collaboration with other professionals, ensuring that the support plans reflect each person's needs goals and aspirations.

Your duties as Team Leader will include, but are not limited too;

- You will be expected to directly line manage a group of support staff, this will include
managing sickness, supervisions and appraisals, managing performance issues and coaching
- Ensure all procedures are being correctly followed
- Report any safeguarding issues
- Management of medication

The Person:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, as minimum preferred
- Experience of working within a similar environment (residential,learning disabilities.)

As this role will involve shift and weekend work, the successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach towards working hours.
