Salary: GBP22,301 per annum pro-rata

Who are we looking for?
Our client is looking for someone to be responsible for providing a painting and decorating service for the College in order to help provide an outstanding environment for its learners, staff and visitors.
You will be responsible for both external and internal painting and decorating works as well as the required planning, scheduling, estimating and preparation required to ensure each job runs smoothly and in a safe manner.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • An industry recognised qualification such as City & Guild or NVQ in Painting & Decorating
  • At least 3 years decorating experience
  • Completed IPAF training and holds a valid Powered Access Licence
  • Flexible attitude to working hours
The successful candidate must be organised, reliable and able to take the initiative as well as having a good eye for detail and the ability to create positive relationships with all colleagues.
Due to the nature of the role, manual handling and working at heights will be required on a daily basis.
