Becoming a Project Manager with Capita in partnership with Transport for London (TfL):
An excellent opportunity to secure an initial 6 months contract as a Project Manager based in Coventry. The Project Manager will be working on our prestigious TFL account.
What you will do:
- Management of the full life cycle of project from requirements, design, development, testing and implementation
- Supplier chain management
- Project financial management
- Responsible for strong governance & plan management
- Development and testing of projects with a budget of GBP5M plus
Your experience will include:
- Prince II or similar PM qualification
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good matrix management of project staff and external suppliers
- Extensive experience managing IT/software development projects
- A good ability to make best use of the MS Office suite including MS Project and SharePoint
- An understanding and ideally practical experience of change management processes
About Capita TfL
Capita have worked with Transport for London (TfL) since 2014, we manage London's Congestion Charging Zone, Low Emission Zone and Traffic Enforcement Notice Processing activities for our client. From April 2019, we will also oversee the new Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and will be responsible for the design, implementation and operation of the systems, as well as all front and back office processes on TfL's behalf. Together, we're helping reduce traffic congestion and improve the service TfL provides its customers by allowing them to reinvest all proceeds back into their services. By joining us, you'll be helping our mission to support TfL in their journey to realise the Mayor of London's ambitious plans to protect Londoners from the damaging health impacts of air pollution.
