SEN Teaching Assistants required for AD-Hoc assignments from September.
Reed Education are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis within a Client school in Birmingham from September. We are working closely with a primary SEN school in Sheldon, Birmingham who cater for pupils with Profound, Multiple Learning difficulties and they are seeking Teaching Assistants to complete day to day assignments within their school.

As part of your assignment you will be responsible for assisting pupils on and off transport and taking them to their lessons. You will be responsible for the supervision of pupils within the classroom, supporting on a 1:1 and small group basis with activities, as directed by the class teacher. We are looking for individuals who can use their own initiative, has experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and is passionate about making a difference to a child's education.

The school aims to provide a dedicated education for pupils aged 4-12 Years old and endeavour to meet the varying educational and social needs with an appropriate and encompassing curriculum. They ensure that all of its pupils are receiving teaching opportunities that enable them to achieve academically.

Whilst the school require candidates on an Ad Hoc basis, through your commitment and desire to provide sufficient support, there may be an opportunity for a continuation within the school on a long term basis.
