About the role
We are currently recruiting for a FP&A and Central Operation Business Partner to join our commercial finance team. You will be apart of a crucial team of commercially-focused, finance managers and business partners; dedicated to understanding and interpreting business results and providing analysis and support to the business in commercial decision-making to drive sales, profit and shareholder value. The role requires interfacing with other parts of the business as appropriate to ensure performance is driven forward and achieves our financial goals.

Your duties will consist of but not limited to:
  • Act as a Business Partner for the Business Development and central function teams, providing financial support, challenge and analysis to provide quality business insight, which allows focused management of performance.
  • Own and manage the quarterly forecasting cycle, working closing with the business
  • Provide regular analysis and updates which forecast business performance against budget/plan.
  • Interface with the Pepkor Europe team to ensure that results, forecasts and business analysis are communicated and understood.
  • Understand and challenge the monthly costs, working with Financial Accounts and stakeholders to ensure that month-end management accounts are accurate
  • Pro-actively contribute to the delivery of the 3 Year business plan process, developing effective models to understand risks and value drivers to the Plan. Effectively translate Senior Management plans across the business into meaningful analysis and modelling
About You
The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified and:
  • Hold a good knowledge of financial performance management and analysis techniques.
  • Have the ability to be able to demonstrate a track-record of interpreting and challenging business results to drive business performance, not just "produce the numbers".
  • Be a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Have exposure to working with cross functional teams and able to build effective working relationships with senior management demonstrating credibility and gravitas with the numbers.
  • Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves".
  • Be able to Demonstrate an ability to be planned in approach in order to prioritise and reschedule action points as necessary. Tenacity and resilience to be able to follow up on agree action points to ensure completion.

Qualifications needed:
  • AAT, ACCA or similar
