Our client is a well-established and successful company based near Stratford-upon-Avon. It is a flourishing company which is the key supplier of fresh food products to many and various retailers in the UK. Their reputation for excellence is well known within their industry and they have built this standing whilst also being very sustainable and environmentally friendly in their processes and practices. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be ready to effectively ensure the highest level of quality, whilst training and mentoring team members.

  • Ensure that the 'Quality Manual' and the 'Good Manufacturing Practice' are maintained
  • Assess the methods of 'Positive Release' to ensure all products conform to the correct specification prior to release of use
  • Maintain and improve Operational Hygiene and Safety practices, respecting the Food Safety Act
  • Measure all operation KPIs, ensuring all practices are conducted within the business technical parameters
  • Ensure that the quality of products supplied fully meets the procurement specifications
  • Lead and mentor the team using excellent communication techniques

Key skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a production or agricultural environment or in FMCG/food industry
  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance/Quality Control role
  • Exposure to other Quality Assurance/Health & Safety procedures are desired
  • A degree in Food Science/Horticulture/Agricultural Based Discipline is desired
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English

Additional Information:

Working hours: 7am-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday

28 days holiday, including bank holidays

Due to the location of this vacancy, you must have your own transport and a driver license.
