About our role:

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or Purchase Ledger Supervisor looking for a new opportunity within a rewarding environment like ours - our Business School offers undergrad and postgraduate business qualifications to both UK and International Students? It's a great environment within our busy campus ??? come and find out for yourself!

Your focus:

As Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will have the skills and experience to manage and coaching our purchase ledger clerk, leading purchase ledger elements of upcoming project work, being the single point of contact for procurement queries and having ownership for the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function. The ability to communicate well, work to tight deadlines and build excellent relationships with our internal teams and external agents is an essential part of our fast paced role.

Bring your experience:

Previous purchase ledger experience is a must, experience of managing & coaching others is preferred but not a problem if that's the next step for you. Experience using an accounting system is essential. Great Plains or Dynamics would be ideal but not a necessity. You will have the ability to problem solve, be an intermediate (or above) Excel user.

We are a small team of 7, we work hard but have great fun doing so. We support each other very well, and lend a hand when deadlines are looming!

Your Learning & Development with QA, how can we support you?

Naturally you will have a comprehensive Induction Programme organised and you will be introduced to various internal teams and stakeholders. Being a training and education provider, your continuous Learning and Development is of huge importance to us and as an individual contributor, we can agree a suitable Pathway to help you achieve your goals and aspirations.

Our benefits and values:

Learning is not just a service we provide, it's a way of life at QA, so everyone is eligible for 3 Training Days every year, to focus on subjects they're interested in.

We offer 2 paid Charity Days each year to support your chosen charity in whatever way you choose AND if you get involved in charity fundraising, QA will also double any sponsorship money raised, up to GBP250.

Recharge your batteries and enjoy some down time, so we provide a fairly generous 25 days' holiday per annum (rising to 28 days after 5 years) - with the option to buy more if you wish.

It's important, too, to plan for the future and our later years, so we offer a defined contribution pension plan and will match your contributions up to a maximum of 4% of your basic salary.

Giving peace of mind we provide by Life Assurance (4x your basic salary) and Permanent Health Insurance (after a qualifying period) in the event that ill health, or worse, disrupts our plans.

And finally, a few fringe benefits to assist with travel and lifestyle choices: Season ticket loan, Cycle to work scheme
