Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Special Vehicle Operations

Position Description:
Lead Electrical Engineer
- Develop & deliver consistent and efficient electrical components for accessory products on time to cost, weight and PSW targets
- Management and coordination of engineering deliverables within the platform
- Drive the delivery of timely engineering solutions to programme requirements as per Gateway deliverables process
- Drive and deliver GRADE process and EDS harness design
- Lead the resolution of technical conflicts
- Geometry Creation.

Skills Required:
- Experience in automotive electrical systems
- Proven Project management capability - demonstrated by recent delivery on time & budget.
- Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels

Experience Required:
- Proven years experience of GRADE process and EDS Harness design
- Has proven years experience of electrical and electronic component delivery
- Previous experience of EMC and CAN Bus / Networking

Experience Preferred:
- electrical or electronic qualification preferably degree
- Experience of WERs releasing and PSW
- Engineering knowledge of mechanical design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
- CAD Literacy - ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools.
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools - FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
- Valid UK driving licence
- Working knowledge of project delivery processes
- Working knowledge of change management processes
