Self-driven Dispute Resolution Associate sought for successful practice in the West Midlands.

Our client is actively seeking a talented Dispute Resolution Associate to join their busy firm in Birmingham. Working under supervision on commercial disputes, primarily for partner, the successful candidate will prove to be independent and eager to learn.

• Advising and representing clients in dispute resolution processes
• High Court, arbitral and other tribunals matters
• Mediation
• Alternative dispute resolution processes
• Undertaking urgent applications for interim relief
• Managing cases under UNCITRAL, ICC and LCIA arbitration rules
• Securing settlements

The Candidate
• Solicitors with a minimum of one year's PQE
• Proven ability and experience in dispute resolution, gained within a reputable firm
• Excellent communication, client care and organisational skills are required
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs is essential
• Excellent academics
• Creative problem-solving ability
