Commissioning Engineer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join our well-established client in Staffordshire. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, this position will suit a candidate who thrives in an 'on-site' environment and can work extremely well under pressure. This position has come about due to expansion and requires an enthusiastic person to take up a new role within an fast paced industry.
In your role as Commissioning Engineer you will be supporting the existing team and manage the following tasks:
* Complete on-site commissioning activities
* Responding to customers commissioning needs
* Compiling and generating supporting documentation
* Providing process and technical support to the department and customers
* Be ready for reactive support globally
* Testing and training, preparing and delivering
* Planning and executing site tasks according to program and specification
* Coordinating with onsite Clients and other sub-contractors
* Producing method statements and risk assessments
* Carry out internal processes
* Commissioning reporting (technical, design and commercial elements)
* Project manager feedback and support
* Process and Engineering fundamentals
* Understanding a scope of works and how to execute to the correct standards and specifications
* Understanding of process solutions and integration of mechanical equipment
* Have a good understanding of Health and Safety aspects
* Municipal waste water or Industrial waste water experience, particularly thickening and dewatering processes.
* Generally, an organised person, with and understanding of completing actions in a timely manner.
* Technical qualification - Engineering Degree / HNC - or time served
* Experience in a site commissioning environment
* Confident in front of customers and suppliers, in both challenging and supporting roles
Location - Please note this position will involve traveling abroad (on average 1 week per month) This postion is field based.
