A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our client in South Birmingham.

Role and Responsibilities:
Coordinates Learning and Development activities supporting operations functions
Works as part of the UK Learning & Development Team to support L&D activities
Develops L&D material to provide support and educational material
Schedules, manages and reports specific course and training attendance for UK facilities.
Manages, promotes and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting processes to fulfil L&D management systems, including training identification, on-going plans and communication
Supports the development and delivery of training
Participates in Organisational projects development & delivery, which may include: business requirement analysis, activity design, delivery, etc
Performs needs assessments, analyses results, and makes recommendation for required courses and training programs to specific operations requests and identified needs
Facilitates & communicates effectively with all levels of the organisation.
Supports learning efforts within projects and focuses L&D efforts to maximise business results
Writes and maintains L&D documentation over time using appropriate tools, technology and educational design processes
Exercises independent judgement to plan, prioritise, and organise diversified workload

Details:
Salary: GBP35,000.00 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 Hours
Location: South Birmingham
Duration: Permanent

To be considered for the Learning and Development Specialist you must have relevant Learning and Development experience
Ideally L&D qualification
Must have excellent communication (verbal and written), organisation, problem resolution, and presentation skills
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, one to one and group working environments
Strong computer skills, including all MS Office applications

Proven Development of presentation material for broad audiences, confident and comfortable speaking and presenting to mixed groups from operational areas to management teams
Previous experience within a Learning & Development / Training role is essential
