Salary – SO1, NJC 23 – 25 (£26,999 - £28,785) pro rata, actual salary (£24,595 - £26,221.98) + LGPS Pension Scheme
37 hours per week, term time only plus 3 weeks Closing Date – 17 September 2019
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data/Exams Officer to join Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy and support the company wide data analysis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and dedicated individual to drive the use of data to raise standards and pupil tracking across the Academy and take lead responsibility for the efficient and effective running of all internal and external examinations within the Academy.
You will be responsible for the management of the pupil ARR (Assessment Recording and Reporting) processes working closely with the Senior Team, the CEO and appropriate staff to support all aspects of the Academy’s systems for student and pupil achievement data and in accordance with statutory requirements.
You will also be responsible for informing external examination boards of examination entries, registrations and coursework marks for GCSE, BTEC, NCFE, AS and A-level qualifications (others as they arise) in advance of any deadline.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to have / be;
Experience of working in data/exams role; The ability to produce accurate data for reporting and tracking;Experience in using different systems, such as SIMS.net, Assessment Manager, Microsoft OfficeGreat people skills, including working as part of a team, working with colleagues, parents and students;A good understanding of the operating pattern of a schools;A commitment to safeguarding in schools,The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;A flair for detail, high standards of professionalism, plenty of common sense and strong organisational skills;The ability to travel across the sites across the Multi Academy.
