Our client based in Stone, Staffordshire is an independent specialist in their field. They require a Finance Admin Assistant to start as soon as possible on a permanent full-time basis.

Job Description:

The purpose of the Finance Admin Assistant will be to support finance, purchasing, health and safety, quality and human resources with administrative tasks. As a Finance Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Enter purchase invoices and sales invoices into accounts system
  • Raise purchase orders for health and safety consumables
  • Check production paperwork has been completed
  • Send out customer statements and chase emails
  • Bank cheques
  • Post nominal journals
  • Prepare sample boxes for production
  • Archive production sample boxes
  • Check and replenish first aid cabinets
  • Update company notice boards

For the Finance Admin Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of purchase and sales invoices advantageous
  • IT skills, including any prior experience of SAGE Line 50 advantageous although full training will be provided
  • Well-organised
  • Able to get on well with others

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary: £20,000 per annum
