We are looking for a Finance and Procurement Assistant to order supplies and equipment based on clients needs as well as dealing with sales orders processing and invoicing.

Ideally we are looking for someone that has experience purchasing IT equipment and who will take responsibility for ordering stock, liaising with suppliers and customer re orders, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.)

This is a varied role and day to day responsibilities will include:

* Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

* Track orders and ensure timely delivery

* Managing a procurement inbox

* Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

* Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices

* Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

* Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

* Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

* Raise sales orders and invoicing appropriately

* Managing supplier invoices, posting to sage1

* Credit control and general finance administration.


* Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer, Finance Assistant or similar role

* Good understanding of IT

* Hands-on experience with purchasing goods and building relationships with suppliers

* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

* Solid organisational skills
