Job Title: Buying Assistant ( Food Category)

We have a great opportunity to join our Buying Team at Holland & Barrett International, based in our Store Support Centre in Nuneaton, nr Coventry (CV10 7RH).

As Buying Assistant working on the Own Label Food category you will report to one of the Category Managers for Food, and will be responsible for assisting the Category Manager to develop and manage product ranges, which achieve company sales, margin and promotional income objectives as outlined in the category strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

Supporting the team with all aspects of the promotional process, ensuring an excellent level of detail, and on-time delivery
Producing weekly/monthly analysis and reviews for in-season trading performance of categories to identify opportunities to improve commercial performance
Liaising with suppliers to progress branded and own label product requirements as discussed with the Category Manager
Ensuring that all administration and data input relating to product information, cost prices and supplier details are accurately maintained
Continuously support the monitoring of competitor activity and the market place
To assist in the management of the critical path to deliver range reviews within agreed timescales
Owning the invoicing process, and dealing with any supplier queries
Implementing and owning processes to ensure effective ways of working
