A Group Financial Controller is required to join a growing organisation who have recently been acquired by a Private Equity firm. Based near Hull you will deliver the group financial agendas, ensure the production of commercially astute and insightful management information and analysis to support the Senior Executive team and the Board.

As the Group Financial Controller, you will report to the Group Finance Director, you will manage a team and have full responsibility for all aspects of financial accounting and reporting. Other responsibilities include:

* Develop and implement financial strategies and controls

* Deliver timely, high quality, robust management information and reporting in line with Board requirements

* Prepare monthly reporting packs, including operating results, KPIs and financial position with variance explanations

* Manage and develop current systems, and implement new systems to incorporate group requirement

* Assist in preparing the annual corporate budgets

* Driving effective cash management and forecasting

* Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with group policies

* Producing management accounts pack with narrative liaising with internal stakeholders

* Maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, e.g. auditors, bankers & HMRC

To be the successful Group Financial Controller you will have worked in a senior role previously, have a good knowledge of corporate finance, be a fully qualified professional (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and have some experience of working in a fast-growing privity equity environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the finance team as it continues to evolve to meet the business's needs during this exciting period of growth.

The role requires an energetic and proactive senior finance professional who will seek to further improve the quality and timeliness of financial information and enhance the presence of the finance function within the business.

You will be based in the Head Office, near Hull with potential for some international travel and remote working.
