Hours - Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

They are now seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their team in their Rugby office.
You will provide an efficient and compliant accounting service to legal advisers, the firm and its customers; to ensure all day to day transactions across both client and office bank accounts are processed accurately, within appropriate deadlines and compliant with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other statutory / legal requirements, whilst helping to protect the firm and its customers from money laundering and fraud.
The role has a significant requirement for co-operative teamwork and flexibility, as well as an ability to work on tasks alone. It will suit an individual with previous experience of working in legal accounts. The role consists of specialist accounting and clerical tasks, both regular and ad hoc. It will provide informed and knowledgeable client and firm accounting and administrative support.
Standard accounting processes and procedures will be followed but the employee will be able to exercise some autonomy about how work tasks are performed, organising their own priorities and work flow to meet deadlines.
The role requires someone who is proactive, calm and confident, understands the importance of great customer service, and who communicates well and is able to provide information or advice to a range of internal and external people.
