This is about providing invaluable support to your Director, managing the systems and processes in your area to keep things running smoothly.

You'll play a key role in ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment. It'll involve day- to-day organisational work, data processing and analysis. Naturally, you'll need to be on the ball and well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And to keep on top of that wave, we have to do something pretty special to keep our customers coming back for more.

Fixed term contract - 15 months
Full or part time contract available - to be discussed at Assessment

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join our Corporate Administration department, on a 15 month contract. The role will be based at our Atherstone Head Office.

The successful Personal Assistant will support the Director with external stakeholders, Senior Management and visitor related tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating and managing meetings
• Drafting administration policies
• Putting together proposals for ratification at Committees
• Preparing Corporate bulletins
• Implementing new procedures
• Ensuring National and International deadlines are complied with
• Long-term calendar management
• Ensuring actions and information requests are followed up appropriately
• Regular handling of confidential and sensitive information with the upmost discretion
• Recruitment and new starter preparation
• Arranging UK & International travel including flights, trains, hotels, and managing itineraries

Minimum requirements:

• 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) A*-C, must include English and Maths
• Experience in a Personal Assistant role, at a senior level
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• High level of attention to detail and time management skills
• Good level of financial literacy
• Ability to remain confidential and professional with sensitive personnel-related data and information
• Pro-active, exceptionally well organised and able to prioritise
• Able to work and deliver under own initiative
• Confident, professional and articulate communication skills
• Remains calm under pressure and able to work at a fast pace on multiple, simultaneous projects
