DMD Recruitment, an established Health and Social Care recruiter is working with an established childrens residential service within the Norton area of Stockton -on-Tees and is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager.
This service is a 3 bedded EBD childrens home. Will suit either a Team Leader who has a wealth of experience within a childrens residential service OR somene who is working as Deputy Manager within a childrens residential service that has their Level 3 in children and young people and this will reflect in your pay being GBP10.00 or if you have just completed your Level 5 qualification but want the next step up in terms of experience this will reflect in your pay GBP10.25 phr.
This is an organisation where you can really get stuck in and make a difference and so will suit candidates that have a passion for care and love what they do. Will suit someone that has worked in a similar setting safeguarding children, updating individual care plans enuring all aspects of social, emotional and cultural needs are covered, You will get involved in managing rotas and delegating where required as well as working with the manager to ensure the home is well maintained.
Hours of Work ( Flexibility is required)
To be flexible as could work one of three shift patterns
2:4 pattern - paid as a salary for 40 hours a week working on a banked hours system (owe us a shift every 3 weeks which we use to cover annual leave). Pattern works two on four off, each shift followed by a sleep as and when required, picking up bank shifts to work hours back as and when required (as per the rota).
1:2 pattern - paid as a salary for 40 hours a week working on a banked hours system (owe us a shift every 3 weeks which we use to cover annual leave). Pattern works one on two off, each shift followed by a sleep as and when required, picking up bank shifts to work hours back as and when required (as per the rota).
5:2 pattern - paid an hourly rate for hours worked, work 5 shifts one week and 2 the next as follows: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday (followed by a sleep as and when required) Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday (followed by a sleep as and when required)
