Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Don't miss out on this apprenticeship opportunity! We're looking for a bright and enthusiastic person to join the Housing team based in Birmingham on an 18-24 Month Fixed Term Contract basis.

As a member of our team you'll provide an excellent service, responsible for managing Clarion's homes from the point they become empty until they are successfully and quickly let.

You'll need to be able to work collaboratively with and develop effective working relationships with Key Stakeholders, Contractors and Colleagues. You'll also need to liaise with our Neighbourhood, Repairs, Asset Management and Development Teams to ensure that properties are ready to let, and are done so quickly, thereby minimising the loss of rental income.

About you

You'll need to be organised and experienced and have the ability to work in a busy, performance focused working environment. We'll expect you to support the management of shortlisting, arranging viewings and preparing the tenancy agreement, before finally inputting the tenancy post sign up in a timely manner.

You'll have an excellent understanding of Choice Based Lettings systems, Allocations, and the use of Local Lettings plans. You'll also have a working knowledge of Housing Legislation, Regulation and Best practice.

Solution-focused with a willingness to constructively challenge and contribute ideas for improvement, you'll have already have experience of delivering against challenging performance targets.

About the apprenticeship

We offer the opportunity to study for a Housing/Property Management Level 3 Apprenticeship which will take 18-24 months to complete and study for your NVQ qualification. You'll develop new key skills and behaviours which will support your personal development and progression. Where you have not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, you must do so before taking the end-point assessment.
