Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to join their successful business and take ownership and management of the payroll bureau team. This role is a great career opportunity for a Payroll Manager to have autonomy and ownership whilst supporting the Partners in winning new payroll bureau clients.

Senior Payroll Manager Requirements:

* Working closely with Business Partners to formalise policies and procedures for the payroll bureau services

* Continuously reviewing, updating and adding to policies to ensure best practice

* Enforcing and providing continuous support to the Partners and the Payroll Bureau team

* Reviewing client engagement terms and monitoring service delivery levels

* Formulating staff/team objectives and monitoring performance

* Managing the delivery of appropriate training and development for the team

* Providing management input

* Coordinating workloads to plan for absence and busy periods

* Taking responsibility for the development of the team

* Delivery of the highest standards of service to clients at all times

Senior Payroll Manager Profile:

* Payroll bureau management experience is ESSENTIAL

* Use of Sage 50 payroll

* Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast paced environment

* Ability to supervise and train members of a team

* Harness an inclusive approach to managing a team

* Have a professional and approachable personality to deal with clients and staff

* Able to perform well under pressure

* Prioritise a heavy workload whilst supporting other members of the team
