My client was established over 10 years ago to provide representatives from all industries with a platform to network and engage with other representatives. These events are based across Europe, USA and EMEA, having delivered over 85 events to representatives from industries listed in the Fortune 500. Now my client is expanding and is looking to recruit a Conference Producer to join their fast paced, dynamic team based in Stoneleigh Park. Your role will include producing conferences in line with your target market to build and develop strong relationships with event facilitators. This is a target driven role and you will take ownership for the entire process of running successful conferences.

Your responsibilities:
  • To work with facilitators to produce innovative conference programmes through research via telephone and other resources.
  • Telephone engagement with senior executives with the aim of registering them for events.
  • To gain a high level understanding of the market whilst researching and tracking competitive events.
  • Identify and upsell add-ons to provide incremental revenue
  • Brief facilitators on the event format and session topic
  • Manage administration of facilitators/speakers and provide their details to event managers
  • To take responsibility for marketing of conference programmes
  • Attend external events with the aim of gaining knowledge and content.
  • Communicate with sponsors to arrange their sessions
  • Negotiate speaker's expenses, where applicable
  • Oversee the conference brochure design and ensure key selling points are emphasised
  • Manage workload to deadlines and work on several events simultaneously
  • You will be attending events across EMEA, USA & beyond

Who you are:
  • Previous experience in Relationship Management
  • Commercially driven, ambitious for a successful career in sales
  • Strong communicator and telephone experience

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and energetic
  • The ability to research and deliver engaging proposals to CEO
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new things
  • Ability to work independently and in a close-knit team
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and regionally, which may include weekend travel

You will receive a salary of £18000-£25000 (dependent upon experience) + uncapped commission and 23 days holiday entitlement. Your working hours are 09.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday however, flexibility is required in line with the business needs.

*Due to the location of the business, only candidates with a full licence and their own transport will be considered for this role.
