We are working with a company based in Warwick who are looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their dynamic and innovative team. You will join them on a full time, permanent basis and in return receive a competitive salary of £18,000 - £19,500 per annum.

The role:
As the Trainee Estimator you will support the Estimating and Project Co-ordinating Departments in pricing projects whilst assisting with the incoming stock and production of approval drawings. Through learning on the job, you will develop your skills to become a successful Estimator or Production Co-ordinator depending on where you naturally excel.
Main duties and responsibilities of the Trainee Estimator:
* Prepare approval drawings and utilise these drawings in your work
* Assist in estimating prices, size of projects, hours and materials required and on site labour
* Complete quotes and deliver these to customers
* Assist in stock taking materials, ordering the materials and co-ordinate deliveries of materials
* Prepare and gather information for risk assessments and method statements
* Organise site surveys and prepare the survey packs
* Communicate with existing and potential customers
* Understand the National Building Specifications.
The Ideal Trainee Estimator will have the below skills and experience:
* Strong IT skills
* Naturally customer service orientated
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* A team player who is both amiable and approachable
* Have a willingness to learn and ability to use your own initiative
* Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience within the Construction Industry is desirable
* Please be aware that the successful candidate will need to be DBS checked in line with their policy for working on-site at schools and colleges.
