Want to help shape the development and expansion of a control system software engineering team who develop automation equipment for some of the world's most exciting biomedical technology businesses?

We have partnered with an Original Equipment Manufacturer who produce a range of machines with a whole host of applications. Equally, they serve a wide range of industries from Pharmaceutical, to food and beverage, to FMCG, to the hygiene industry.

Due to the range of technologies on offer, the business are looking for control system engineers who can write code to a high standard across a range of platforms - Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff.

Crucially, we're looking for individuals who have used Beckhoff drives and servo motors as a large proportion of the machines you will be working on utilise these technologies, however, you won't be limited to these systems as they also have equipment which utilises Allen Bradley and Siemens technology.

This is an established team and you will have c. 8 direct reports alongside budgetary responsibilities. This business will work with you to improve and develop your team as industry leaders within this field.

One of the biggest issues with moving from a System Integrator to an OEM is that fear of limiting yourself in terms of technology. At an SI, you might work on a wide range of technologies necessitated by varied work and a lot of people enjoy that. This business works a lot like an SI in that they have varied machines that work across a rang of systems necessitated by customers working within different industries.

You get the best of both worlds at this business - fantastic pay and benefits (much higher than what an SI might pay due to their margins) coupled with the technical development you'd get at an SI.

The business is a premium supplier within this industry and as part of their offering they advertise their staff as being of high calibre so encourage control system engineers within the business to go for chartership and develop professionally. They'll even pay for professional membership and development through further learning putting their money where their mouth is.

All of this culminates in a fantastic working environment where people genuinely want to improve themselves and fosters innovation maintaining our client's position as a global leader within their peer group.
