The Senior Building Surveyor (Building Pathologist Lead) within our strategic asset management team will drive performance and compliance across our property portfolio with a particular focus on hard to treat and energy inefficient properties.

You will be a subject matter expert on residential buildings, their design and performance and act as a case-holder to improve the overall performance of the portfolio in relation to the condition and energy efficiency of the housing portfolio.

You will take a forensic approach to provide insight on our buildings and recommend the most effective ways of improving their performance and provide solutions to issues as well as acting as a point of escalation for other members of the team. You will also review legislation and understand its impact on our policies.

About you
You'll already be a Building Surveyor with the ability to manage a large property portfolio and diverse mix of property build types and ages.

We're looking for a high performing, self-starter who will help us achieve our ambitious energy performance targets and stock condition improvements and adopt a strategic and analytical view of future programmes.

You'll have a related property degree or relevant professional qualification with knowledge of environment and property legislation.
