HR Manager - Leek, Staffordshire - Private SME Organisation - GBP40-45,000 doe

A newly created role to assist the new HR Director on managing the HR & L&D functions to deliver effective and quality services which are aligned with the business strategy and objectives. A pure generalist role where you will manage a team of HR Professionals including business partners,L&D business partner and assistants.

The role -

Assist in the development and implementation of People Plans that enable, facilitate and achieve organisational and cultural change

Provide expertise in relation to workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, reward management, compensation and benefits and organisational development

Lead on major people change projects and other projects and to liaise closely with senior managers ensuring that change is successfully embedded across the organisation

To advise on high profile or high risk employment related matters

Help drive forward and achieve the organisations Equality and Diversity strategies

Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy

To manage and develop an effective and motivated team ensuring that the team consistently meetings high standards of performance through effective use of team meetings and one-to-ones

The Person -

CIPD qualified, preferably to level 7 (post graduate)

Project management knowledge, skills and experience

Track record of developing and implementing a People Strategy in a business environment

Strong knowledge of Employment Law

In-depth knowledge across all areas of Human Resources, including resourcing, reward, performance management, employment law, learning and development and employee relations

Experience of using learning and development methodologies to support change and promote wellbeing

Professional services background would be an advantage
