Main purpose of the role:

To provide operational and analytical support to the Procurement Team across all aspects of the purchase of goods and services by the firm and the supply of services by the firm to its clients.

Indirect reports: None

Budgetary / financial responsibility: None

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Analysis of sub-contractor activity data; identification, reporting and resolution of any issues with the sub-contractor's activity data; liaison with the relevant sub-contractor and internal teams as necessary
Monthly, quarterly and annual KPI and similar monitoring reporting to clients and stakeholders
Support bid processes as required
Support all parts of the firm regarding advice on procurement management processes
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective supplier relationship and management strategy supporting the development and implementation of our P2P system including the reporting functionality and analytics of supplier spend

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience:

Highly analytical and numerate
High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written
Ability to work on multiple projects at once
Previous experience in a procurement or similar team is desirable
May be a member of CIPS or studying towards CIPS qualifications

Standard hours of work are 9.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch (35 hours per week).
