Job Summary

As a dedicated Coordinator Assistant who enjoys a busy, ever changing work environment we need you to join our growing team at the Worcestershire Out of Hours (OOH) service on a bank basis. The Worcestershire OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. The service operates throughout a number of locations within Worcestershire, however you will be mainly based in our administration office in Worcester. Within this job you'll be responsible for: •Assisting the coordinator with the administration process for patients, including calling patients to arrange appointment times at their nearest Primary Care centre. •Supporting the Coordinators and Call Centre Supervisor in achieving performance levels. •Building and maintaining relationships with the management team, GP's, community services and other healthcare providers and external suppliers. •Managing shifts appropriately by analysing and identifying pressure points using call volume and staffing levels. Hours of work: The Service runs Weekdays 18:30 - 00:00 & 00:00 - 08:00. Weekends & BH: 08:00 - 08:00 As this is a bank role you can work any shifts between these hours that you are available for flexibly.

•Have an ability to work effectively under pressure with good organisational & administrative skills •Be able to type quickly and accurately, with attention to detail •Have excellent communication skills, including an effective telephone manner •Have sound knowledge and understanding of IT and Microsoft Office.
