We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our enthusiastic and professional Estates team to work across our College sites.

You will support the College in providing an efficient and effective service for the operation of the College premises and other facilities, ensuring that the accommodation and its grounds and serv

You will be required to open and securely close the buildings, respond to "call out" as a key holder when required, and provide a security presence within the College. You should also be able to undertake minor, maintenance, porterage and repair works across the College premises. For these reasons we would expect the candidate to be within easy travelling distance of Burton town centre and Swadlincote.

Essential requirements for the role are a First Aid Qualification or a willingness to work towards one, the ability to drive college vehicles and a resilience and positivity towards all activities within this very busy department.

This position is a 37 hour per week role, Monday-Friday on a shift basis. Some weekend work is required.
