Position Summary : Premia Solutions Limited develops and markets innovative insurance solutions to the Automotive Industry motor dealers. This position would be ideal for someone in a Senior Compliance Analyst Role wishing to progress, or a junior Compliance Manager looking to broaden their experience and own a compliance function within and SME.

Purpose of the Role

  • Provide day-to-day compliance services for PSL in respect of Insurers and Distributors in order to mitigate compliance risk to PSL.
  • In cooperation with PSL's executive team, plan, construct, deliver and maintain PSL's compliance services in support of PSL's systems and controls.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of PSL's systems and controls, report to the PSL executive team and recommend and implement improvements.
  • Run compliance projects, as required by PSL's executive team.

Key areas of Responsibilities

Compliance and Financial Crime Risk:

Manage and mitigate compliance and financial crime risk on a day-to-day basis as well as contributing to PSL's governance structure

Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk:

  • Monitor PSL's effectiveness and contribute to development of best practice in this area

Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention:

  • Monitor PSL's effectiveness and contribute to development of firm best practice in this area

Information Security:

  • Monitor PSL's effectiveness and contribute to development of firm best practice in this area

Responsibility to cover ad hoc duties:

  • All PSL employees are required to take part in ad hoc projects to further the aims of the business including appropriate travel

Relevant Experience, Qualifications & Education

Essential:

  • 3-5 years' Compliance experience
  • Dealing at board level
  • Dealing with third party organisations at a senior level
  • Literacy and Numeracy qualifications

Desirable

  • Experience working for insurance firms in particular intermediaries
  • Compliance qualification
  • Degree level education
