Field Service Engineer - Brammer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Sales & Service Engineer to join the Brammer Buck & Hickman team in Wolverhampton.
About the Role
As a Field Sales & Service Engineer you will work alongside internal and external teams to play a key part in supporting the onsite teams with their repairs and service requirements.
With a good working knowledge and understanding of industrial gearboxes and motor technology you will be responsible for planned maintenance and ad hoc requests, ensuring the best service is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. You will also work closely with the external sales team and local management, identifying opportunities within the customer base.
With a passion for engineering, you will have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in a rotational discipline and be someone who is flexible and able to operate in a range of different disciplines and at all levels across the business.
For this role, it is essential to have either ONC/HNC equivalent qualification and also BINDT Level 1 Condition Monitoring qualification, alongside knowledge of industrial gearboxes and motors, as well as being multi skilled in basic electrical practices. A knowledge of process pumps, belt & chain drives and couplings would be an advantage but not essential.
