Are you a Bookkeeper looking for a new challenge in the West Midlands?

Williams Munroe, Accountancy Practice specialists are excited to assist a Top 20 Practice in their search for a Cloud Accounting Bookkeeper, to join their offices in Birmingham. Our client is a growing national Accountancy Practice specialising in providing services to owner managed business across the UK and due to growth of the business along with a recent office move in Birmingham, they are now looking for an additional Bookkeeper to join their team.

What exactly does this role involve?

* Sales, purchases and nominal ledger management
* Reconciliation of bank statements and credit card statements
* Management of petty cash and expenses
* Cross-company transactions
* Wages transactions and reconciliation of salaries and wages control accounts
* Filing and preparing VAT returns, along with VAT reconciliation

So what skills do you need to do this job?

* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and client expectations
* Strong commercial awareness
* Previous experience of working within Accountancy Practice, using Sage & Xero (ideally 2-3 years)
