My client are market leading specialists in the design, and installation of ventilation, odour control as wells as general HVAC systems.

They enjoy an excellent reputation in the industry for innovative and industry leading bespoke solutions. Their continued growth has created a requirement for a credible and driven Project Engineer to join their dynamic sales team based in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver projects to the clients meeting their expectation of excellent customer service
  • Being an excellent communicator to ensure the delivery of a job is as efficient and professional as possible
  • Deliver projects in their Industrial, JETFLO and Commercial Project sectors - main focus would be Industrial.
  • Develop yourself into a proficient M&E Project Engineer/ Manager
  • Issued equipment / PPE
  • One's development in the role
  • Managing own time - liaising with various internal teams to service project needs
  • Following company procedures

Key Result Areas

  • Receive project briefs - understanding the specifications, contractual documents and the engineer schedules and drawings
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to check Air Handling Units and Operational Units meet requirements
  • Manage all costs and procurement of suppliers
  • Health and Safety of your project
  • Quality control of your project
  • Aid in the creation of designs to overcome engineering problems
  • Sign off all projects ensuring the client has a fully operational solution
  • Train clients to use solutions
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, finding a solution that fixes issue
  • Present toolbox talks to members of the design and delivery teams

Successful Applicant

  • Excellent Communicator (oral & written) to all audiences (client / colleagues / management / supply chain)
  • Knowledge of the Water Industry & Control Panels
  • Team Player
  • Self-Motivated
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Organisational skills - ability to plan own diary and work ahead to suit needs of business
  • Able to prioritise
  • Being held accountable for one's actions - This is not a negative trait but one where the person can be open and honest and also proud of their work
  • Attention to detail
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English +3 others Grade C or above
  • Clean driving license
  • Working in the Utilities industry for 3+ years
