The Role:
Assistant Energy Efficiency Advisor
* This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee to join our forward-thinking organisation to deliver our current energy efficiency programmes to support disabled people and their families to achieve a better state of economic wellbeing.
* We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven candidate with experience of providing information, advice and support to clients.
The role will require the chosen individual to develop their skillset to develop their knowledge and specialise in the energy efficiency and income maximisation specialism.
Person Specification Assistant Energy Efficiency Advisor
* Educated to a college level
* Evidence of ability to provide accurateand up-to-date information advice and guidance.
* Evidence of abilityto interact with and to interview clients in line with required standards including disabled people
* Experience of empowering clients to make informed choices and decisions
* Effective and Confident Communicator when dealing with external organisations
* Experience of Working within the community
* Experience of networking and undertaking outreach work
* Confident in representing organisations
* Knowledge of andability to use generic computer packages
* Knowledge of and ability to use social media
* Understanding of disability issues
* Knowledge of statutory services
* Ability to meet deadlines & targets
* Ability to effectively manage a client caseload
* Good communication and inter-personal skills
* Good attendance record
