Quality Manager - Water
Manage the Quality Function within the Severn Trent Framework. Ensure all projects are provided with Quality Leadership and Support and champion "Quality - right first time" initiative.

* Office based in the Midlands (initially)
* Flexibility to Travel in Severn Trent region
* Experience in the water industry is desirable but not essential.

The Role

* Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
* Collaborate with engineering to support and educate the engineering community on to achieve better quality.
* Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
* Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
* Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
* Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
* Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes.
* Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
* Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements.
* Provide reports, presentations and information as directed by the Business / Quality Management.
* Carry out site inductions and other training as required.
* Support the Operational Unit / Quality Management in the delivery of the Audit Programme.
* Undertake internal and external audits as required.
* Attend Framework Quality Forums and lead input from Murphy

About the Project

* Murphy has been awarded a place on Severn Trent Water's Capital Delivery Design & Build Framework.
* The Framework will last a minimum of 5 years.
* The total project will deliver over GBP2bn in investment into the water sector across Severn Trent Water's region - large parts of the Midlands extending into parts of Wales and the North-West.
* Our work will contribute to the delivery of clean and safe water
* A wide range of infrastructure - water networks, reservoirs and pumping stations, and non-infrastructure -water and wastewater treatment.
* The framework will also include: pipe installation, civil engineering, installation, integration and commissioning of water and wastewater plants
