A leading Leamington Spa hospital currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RGN with an acute nursing background to work as Matron/Head of Clinical Services RGN.

As Matron/Head of Clinical Services RGN, you will focus on the clinical leadership and management of staff along with taking the lead on clinical governance in the Wards, Pharmacy, Imaging & Radiology, Cardiology and Pathology. You will contribute to service development and budgetary management, ensuring a cost-effective service which doesn't compromise on quality of care.

Applicants for this Matron/Head of Clinical Services RGN post should meet the following criteria:

* Registered with the NMC as a Level 1 Adult Nurse/RGN

* Demonstrate extensive experience in an acute healthcare setting with substantial experience in a leadership/managerial role such as Clinical Services Manager

* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of CQC essential standards and quality management/assurance tools and have substantial experience with Clinical Governance

* A strong leader and able to manage, motivate and develop diverse clinical teams

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, and able to build positive relationships with internal and external bodies to further develop the service
