Your new role
Based in Tyseley, you will be required to support the team of Housing Officers in providing effective housing management. You will be working with customers and staff, ensure the proper management of council tenancies in accordance with policy and in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory codes, guidance and professional practice relating to low level Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Tenancy Management and take appropriate action when tenancy conditions have been breached. In addition, you will assist with the carrying out of surveys, site visits and inspections, collation of data and production and presentation of reports.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Neighbourhood Officer / Housing Assistant, you will have experience of working with an experience housing team and will ideally have experience in ASB and Tenancy Management. Up to date knowledge of legislation would be beneficial, however not essential. Access to your own vehicle would also be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
You would only be required to conduct no more than 7 visits per day, with 3 days being spent in the office. You would be able to work in an agile environment where you can access your work at any local Council office. You will be able to claim your mileage and travel costs for the role and receive in depth training from the experience Housing team.
