FRS are exclusively assisting a business based in the heart of Coventry with the recruitment of a Payroll Manager. You will be overseeing the payroll function and managing a full time Payroll Administrator, ensuring weekly and monthly payrolls are processed efficiently. Suitable candidates will ideally have a managerial background, but my client is open minded to an experienced payroll professional looking for a step up in responsibility. You will be able to work well within a small team and ensure close working relationships with HR and the MD.

Duties will include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of end to end payroll processing using Sage Payroll
  • Reconciling payroll reports
  • Tax year end processing
  • Processing both weekly and monthly payroll
  • Ensuring that all aspects of RTI and Auto Enrolment are considered

Suitable candidates will have / be:

  • CIPP Qualified (not essential)
  • Up to date knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, NIC's
  • Experience of tax year end procedures
  • Ideally an accountancy practice or bureau background but candidates with relevant
  • experience from industry will be considered
