Your new role

As a teaching assistant you will be working in Early Years, it will be your job to provide 1:1 support to a child with special education needs. You must have experience working with lower ability children, learning difficulties and supporting children with ASD. Ideally the candidate will have experience of the EYFS and early communication.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need experience working with Early Years pupils at a group or individual level. Successful candidates will need to have a minimum of a NVQ level 2 teaching assistant qualification as well as experience working with children in nursery and KS1 over the past two years. You will need to have experience working in SEN settings with experience providing 1:1 support for range of additional needs. Ideally the candidate will have experience with EYFS.
