Job Role - Multi Trade Operative

Location - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs

Job Type - Temporary

Duration of Role - 1st Nov 2019 (possibly longer, as covering long term absence)

Pay Rate -GBP14-GBP15 per hour umbrella

Working Pattern - Mon to Fri, with flexibility for weekend, evening and standby work

Full UK Driving License

Job Summary

The job holder will ensure that they fully always understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both health & safety and equality & diversity.

Duties

  • Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
  • Resources
  • Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
  • Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.

Skills and Knowledge

  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in 3 relevant trades.
  • Qualifications or certification in Health and Safety e.g. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Health and Safety passport scheme
  • Experience installing kitchen and bathrooms
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Monitors own performance against a self-imposed standard of excellence to ensure work is adding value and goals are being met.
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Working experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
